New TVS Apache 200 will be on sale from March 2015.
TVS Apache 200 has been launched in India in two variants. Priced from INR 88,990 for the carbureted (minus ABS) and INR 1.07 lakh for the FI variant with dual channel ABS, sales of Apache 200 will commence from March 2016 across India.
Positioned in the entry level sports segment, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V targets young urban buyers with its aggressive stance and high level performance. It is powered by a single cylinder, four valve, oil-cum-air cooled 197.7cc engine in two versions one of which is a carbureted while the other is a fuel injected. The engine with the carbureted unit offers 20.5 PS peak power and 18.1 Nm torque while in the fuel injected version power performance is enhanced to 21 PS but torque figures remain the same.
Aggressive in looks and with added styling the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V launched in India is seen with a headlamp with pilot LEDs, an all digital instrument cluster and LED tail lamps. It receives split seats and a higher rear seat while a high flow double barrel exhaust system offers better outflow of exhaust besides adds to the aesthetics of the new Apache. The bike also gets high grip wide ratio Remora tubeless tyres along with options of Pirelli tyres for better racing performance. It is fitted with petal discs and dual channel ABS along with rear liftoff protection facility.
Fitted with electric start, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V stands at a height of 1,105mm, has a length of 2,050mm while its width is 790mm. It sits on a wheelbase of 1,353mm and has ground clearance of 180mm along with kerb weight of 148 kgs.
