Huawei was one of the most successful smartphone manufacturers last year. This China-based company managed to sell 108 million devices in 2015, and become the world’s third-largest smartphone OEM. The company actually made an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) last month, where they not only re-announced some of their existing products, but also announced some new devices, like the Huawei GX8 handset which we’ve talked about several times already.
The Huawei GX8 is a mid-range handset which is already available in the US through Amazon, as we’ve reported earlier this month. Well, those of you who live in the US and are interested in purchasing this smartphone, you’ll be glad to know that the phone is now available through Best Buy as well. The pricing is actually identical to what we’ve seen on Amazon, you’ll need to splash out $349.99 if you want to purchase this smartphone. The Huawei GX8 is made out of metal, and it sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display. This handset also packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels this phone, and a 3,000mAh battery is placed on the inside. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) available on top fo it. The 13-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel shooter is placed on its front side.
Now, as far as the design is concerned, this smartphone is actually quite sleek-looking. The phone is made out of metal, and it offers a rather clean design. Huawei’s logo is placed on both its front, and back side, while a rear-facing fingerprint scanner is also available here, as you can see. This is a mid-range handset, and even though it’s a bit pricey considering the specs, this is still quite a compelling offering from Huawei. The device comes in Space Grey, Mystic Champagne and Horizon color options, in case you’re wondering. The phone is already available through Best Buy, and if you’re interested, follow the source link down below which will take you di
